The Sunshine Coast is the perfect mix of coast and country and the ideal place to relax and unwind. The Sunshine Coast wine and food  region is one of the most diverse and fastest growing regions in Queensland, encompassing vineyards, farms and restaurants situated throughout the coast including  Maleny, Caloundra, Montville, Noosa, Mooloolaba, Kawana, Blackall Range, Kenilworth, Traveston, Yandina, Cooroy, Noosa areas through to the milder climates in the valleys near the coast.

Our wines and food are testament to the passion of our producers. Food brings much pleasure, and learning to get the most from it is the perfect way to de-stress.

Tastes of the Sunshine Coast -Taste the Coast in Caloundra- Sunshine Coast Function Centre - Caloundra RSL 19 West Tce Calundra - Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th July - 9.30am - 4.30pm - Over 50 food and wine companies including restaurants, tasty treats and condiments; will be in one place for two days. Taste what they have to offer. Sunshine Coast Function Centre, West Tce Caloundra. Be entertained by Celebrity Chefs, Check out the Celebrity Cook Off, Listen the Wine specialists discuss what wine goes with what food. Each person who purchases TASTE TICKETS receives a souvenir glass. There's lots more. Entry $15 Which includes a two day pass and access to all stage events. Masterclass - Saturday 5th July -5.30pm - 7.00pm $35pp - Sunshine Coast Function Centre - Booking Essential. Master Winemaker Peter Scudamore-Smith, offers an overview and tasting of wines while discussing vineyards in the Queensland region. Peter has been making wines for many years. The Masterclass will be a comparison of six red and six white wines from the wine regions in Queensland. The winemaker will point out the subtle differences which are characteristic of the regions. 6 Canapés to match the wines will be served. Go to the masterclass page for more information

Wine & Dine with the Stars - Friday 11th July- A Gala charity dinner to raise funds for Energex Community Rescue Helicopters will be held at the Crowne Plaza Pelican Waters Golf Resort and Spa with a sensational theme 'Las Vegas' . The event will be the backdrop for the charity dinner to raise funds for Energex Community Rescue Helicopters.  Learn from the Sommelier and Executive Chef why the Wines and meals were chosen for this magnificent dinner. Have the opportunity to meet some celebrities. Your night out will include a three course meal and beverages, silent auction, entertainment and some surprises. Celebrating 40 years in the business, Carlotta is an icon of the Australian Cabaret Entertainment Industry.

Carlotta began her career in the 1960’s as one of the original members of the internationally renowned “LES GIRLS” in Sydney’s King Cross.

Carlotta is the inspiration behind the motion picture ‘PRISCILLA, QUEEN OF THE DESERT” and the musical and has appeared in numerous television productions during her 40 year career.

Giant FRESH FOOD Market- Friday 11th July - Join us at Kings Beach from 2.00pm through to 8.30pm. The Long Lunch at The Ginger Factory or East Bank Lake Kawana - Sunday 13th July @ 12.30pm

The lush gardens at the Ginger Factory will be the backdrop for the Festival's Long Lunch.  Diners can enjoy a three course meal prepared by the Sunshine Coast's award winning Chef Andrew Strange, wine supplied by O'Rielly's winery,  entertainment and lots of great company.

Or by the Lake at East Bank Lake Kawana. Divine dining will be prepared by Patrick Andre from Chez Andre and Cream Catering and wines supplied by Jimbour Wines. Enjoy the sounds of the waves, the sand under your feet, music by The Sweet Souls and enjoy a magnificent three course meal including beverages and lots of fun people and conversation.
